This product is the best thing ive ever bought for fishing.....yes you can use the top separate....kettle,pans, and toasting...ive cooked a small roast chicken on 170f 2hrs perfect taste.....trust me when i say this though set it up first before you go its a bit fiddly but once you know how its a doddle...good luck and hope it serve you well like it has me....?
